Hello Georges, My name is Kabir and work for Miami Beach Code Compliance Department. Our Job is to maintain city of Miami Beach guidelines and codes and to make sure the city residents and business owners follow them. Last couple of months, we have average 5-8 calls a day from a building residents and business owners regarding the following complaints - Fake business Stores that are listed in Google Maps in the residential building and non existent businesses that are working on deliveries but they have marked in google maps as a stores. We tried to report them and we send them on suspension for 1 week however they reopened again in a week or so and in the same address. When we called Google specialist to inform this issue, they told us that this business provided to them with Front Store Pictures and they can not make any further actions, however its a total absurd, since we sent our code enforcement officers on site to check the business locations and there is no existent. We record videos showing that our code enforcement are entering same address that is in google maps and we communicate with Building security and front desk and they confirming about having issue and they called Google multiple times as well, however no action from Google whatsoever. Please suggest what we should do in this case, since this is a serious matter for a City of Miami Beach and as Code enforcement, we must have an answer for our citizens annoyed by a customers visiting non existent stores.
