Difference between Google Maps and Google Street View.

Could you please let me know the difference between google maps and google street view. Where Can I score more points?

Can you explain me advantages of both applications. Why google Separated it with two applications?

First of all, i think you should have to change your avatar, to avoid to be disguised as a Google Employee on Connect.

Maps is the cartographic and satellite imagery layer, along with the Point of Interest layer.

Street View is the technology that allows you to visit in 360 imagery places, streets and point of interest.

Although the two programs were developed with different paths, now are converging into a single platform.
