 Next to the site is the Sarnath Museum, which hosts the ancient Lion Capital Ashoka Stambh, which depicted by the four lions in four directions, is the National Emblem of the Government of India.

To visit the place, one can hire a cab from Varanasi city. There are several domestic airlines that connect to Varanasi and a few international flights from Bangkok, Kathmandu, Colombo, Sharjah, etc.

Also visiting the Ganga ghats at the ancient city of Varanasi and taking a boat ride in the Ganges makes the trip wholly worthwhile.Rowing in the Ganges, Varanasi.
