A little late, having to first attend the invitation of Polres Batu in the Nobar 22 Menit The Movie event, we rushed to the gathering point of Sabers Pungli activities around Batu Metro Bridge Kali Batu. There are several communities, such as BRO community, BPBD Kota Batu, Explore Wisata Malang community, students of Education Camp participants, and special guests from Great Indonesian Leaders Summit (GILS) participants.
As always, this massive activity moves all volunteers to the river to collect the rubbish found around the river. All the waste is put into sacks, tied up, and pulled onto the bridge. With so many volunteers, garbage collects in quick time. After packing all the garbage into the garbage truck, all the participants are directed towards KaliKali Hall & Cafe. Here, an ecological discussion is held. Although looking exhausted, some participants were seen still antusian follow the discussion, while enjoying the dish. The speakers were briefed on the basic idea of this activity, river culture, waste management, and the role of Local Guides in this activity.
The event ended at around 6 pm, marked by the awarding of plaques and souvenirs by GILS representatives to activists of Sabers Pungli.
