Chamba is a town in the Chamba district in state of Himachal Pradesh in northern India. The town is situated on the bank of Ravi river
( tributary of Indus river).
Elevation from the sea level is 3,268 feet. The total population According to 2011 census is 19,933.

@IshantHP_ig Thanks for sharing this. The place really looks peaceful and amazing. Especially the terraced slopes where agriculture is done.
How does a visitor come here? Where is the nearest airport / main train station, and how does one get here from the airport/train station?

The nearby railway station is Pathankot Cantt railway station which is about 55 km apart from Chamba district, you can directly take a public transport or hire a private taxi( if you want to travel alone) about 4 to 5 hours journey. @StephenAbraham
