Working in the maps of the GUGL - we all work as volunteers - voluntarily and free of charge.

It's a long story.
1 years ago, it's hard to find places near me being new in my city.
I used to work as a delivery driver specialist.
Many of the times I couldn't find a place to park in downtown.
I used to feel sad.
It was real hard for me.
Then I started exploring places near me.
Note everything wherever I visit all day.
It became my passion, hard at the starting but latter wherever I go.
There is a sign of parking ( you parked here ) on my map. Which makes me easy. Now my work efficiency as well as earning became double ...
It's the reward ...

Also I am helping other  by providing directions as well as image of any business.

Correct the location and adding many business.

Now I don't need GPS or Google maps to go anywhere in my city.

That's great reward for me ...

No, you cannot earn money from becoming a local guide. Being a local guide is voluntary and we become local guides to help and support others by reviewing different places.

Local Guide is kind of Charitable program from google, Spend your time, put efforts, use your own internet, enjoy taking pictures, post it, review it, and get some Perks.
