Re: How to earn money through google local guide?

@DEBABRATAM This is a volunteer work and you can not earn money or get a job in Google through this program. The only motivation for me is to this gives me a chance to help millions of people.

Re: Local Guide

Hi @KarthiKKen as @Myrathor told you, LG is a volunteer program, you are not allowed to have an incoming from posting photos, reviewing and adding/updating details for businesses. If you are looking for an extra income, please, you could consider enter the SV|T program that will permit you to be listed in a "for hire" list of photographers.

For more informations: https://www.google.com/streetview/earn/

And have a look to this thread in LGC: https://www.localguidesconnect.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/Photography/page/1/thread-...

Good luck!

How, or do we get paid, for the work we do on Google Guides?

Re: Google Guides

Hi @AaronS

Thanks for asking.

I am merging your requests with this post which talks already about a similar topic. As a reminder, Local Guides is a volunteer program. And Connect is a forum where to discuss and exchange with other Google Maps users who have joined the program of Local Guides - meaning people from around the world who want to help others find out about new places.

As it looks like you are new in the forum, why don't you explore the many sections of the site and check out the conversations happening among our Local Guides? For example, this section of the site has some good tips on how to use the community and interact with your fellow Local Guides.

Tips for getting started:

Search the community before posting as others may have asked your question (and received an answer) already.
- Use a descriptive title for your post to make it easier for people to know whether they should open it.
- Share a story with your photo(s) - tell your fellow Local Guides something about the location's history, why you like it,  a few details on what is in the pictures, etc.
- Use the Location field to geotag your post to a specific place, but make sure its important to the content of the post.
- Don't share personal information on the forums, check out the private messaging option instead.

This area has helpful information about the Local Guides program in case you have more questions. Don't forget to introduce yourself to the other Local Guides on our  April 2017 introduction thread, too, if still you haven't done it yet, and feel free to ask if you need any help or tips.

Many thanks and have fun with Local Guides!

Re: can i earn money from google mapmaker

Local Guides Program is purely a voluntary program and one is free to contribute at his/her own wish. This Program is launched to help millions people like you to help explore the places and get quality reviews about them.

Sometimes Google gives out rewards, like a T-Shirt or Google Drive storage, but not money.
