Barbers or Hairdressing can't be added in Google Maps.

I wish to add inside the map of Sibiu, location of few barbers because when you search in google you don't find it. Can be possible?

Hi @PaulN, Of course you can add such businesses to the map. There are related category in Google Maps. You can use "add a missing place" button in Google Maps to add missed places but also notice that only enter real name of the business without any description (for example products or services) and insert the marker on top of the occupied building (It is better to insert marker at the geometrical center of the occupied building/room)

You can search in Google Maps for "barber" or "frizer"(RO). Then you can find some places.

Of course it is possible! I have added several places before so here are the steps.

1. Open Google Maps and use the location feature OR type the adress

2. Put the marker in the center of the place you are adding and click on it

3. A page of the place will pop up and you need to choose ADD MISSING PLACE, is the last option on the end

4. Type the name, edit the adress If it's not the right one, choose a category and fill any extra information you may have then click on the send button, right upper corner

You will receive a mail about your edit being reviewed and after it's approved, another mail telling you the place is now live on Google Maps
