Approved edits not counting toward my points

I have recently made two edits to different places. Both edits got approved instantly but I didn't receive any points for any of them. I received points to questions I answered after that though

Have you ever edited these places before? Different edits but to same places?

No, never edited those places before or even reviewed them

When you say recently, was it in the last 24 hours, as it does take a while to process onto the points system, my points generally poll on the system overnight and I'm GMT +1. 

Sometimes they appear a little later, but they always get there.

Be patient, and keep up the good work.
