Appraisal for Google Live Update during Kerala Flood 2018

A Malayalam Daily has highlighted the live update service of Google. This is the portion from Mathrubhumi Daily published on August 20, 2018. Various services and link are also noted.

@bhasibahuleyan Thanks for sharing. Any useful information shared through to people is useful. Just to mention that most of the updates and data comes from users and people on the ground in Kerala, and not Google directly. The platform is on Google Maps and Google My Maps. There are many versions and copies of the resource Maps, some of which derive data from own groups of users and some get part of the data from the 2 main larger Maps which are being maintained by Kerala Rescue and also GateLogic.
