Amazing beach PATENAGA.

SEA QUEEN "PATENGA BEACH"

Patenga beach at Patenga, Chittagong, Bangladesh. Tbe beach is about 15 km away from the Chittagong city. The transportation from city to this beach is very easy  Any kind of vehicle can be used to reach there.

Peoples are vetting in speed boat for going around at sea for a while.

 Norrnally the beach is open for the whole day for the visitors and at night also but for the safety and security it is better to leave the beach within short time of sunset.. The Patenga beach is on the bank of The Bay of Bengal. 

Speed boat for riding at sea.

 There are a lot of speed boat on hire for go around to the sea for a while. Visiting during low water time is more enjoyable as the water level goes down and a large area of the beach come out. At this time you can enjoy Kart riding, Horse riding and walk through the beach.

Patenga beach at high water.

 There are a lot of temporary restaurant you will find on the beach. They will serve some dry foods like Crabs fry, Prawn fry,, Piajoo, Chatpati, Cold drinks etc. You will find many permanent restaurant also.. You will find there 'Biriyany, Rice,  Meats, Chicken, Parata, Tandyr ruti, and many more. The restaurants normally serves spicy foods.

A lot of ships you will find at anchorage near to the beach. I hope you will enjoy  the amazing sceneries of Patenga beach.. Invitation to all for visiting BANGLADESH.

It seems a great place to spend the weekend. Do you know if it's possible to swim there or better not?

@BorrisS, yes , it is good place to swim but you are to be careful because water current is much stronger. However, swimming can be dine in slack water time only and keep an attendant to look after. There is no life guard in this beach to help you..

This place is very nice to pass the weekend. Foods are available, can take rest under the shade which is arranged by temporary restaurant.
