1500 points less since this morning, and that today I have registered 5 new places and contributed new photographs. I do not get it...

It's happening to me also. I'm level 7 with 6672 points and now I checked it's 5851 points. The photo counts are rapidly decreasing! This is insane!

@ErmesT i have added few places and added images to few places and few edits , but my points are not increasing , approximately 200 points are not showing which i just added and have lost 1000 points . is this also because of few bugs or any update or database issue?

@ErmesT A google moderator has said issue with points can happen sometimes due to an update of the database (he said probably) here.

So please dont worry!

Hello @SrikrushnaP Have a look on what our Community Moderator @ErmesT says. 

It happens sometimes, due probably to an update of the database.

If you do a search you will find a lot of old post about this issue. Don't spend time reading all, just go to the end of every topic and you will see that, oh a few hours / days all the points are back.

So enjoy mapping and wait a bit. It is not a real problem.
