藍色清真寺 (Blue Mosque)

土耳其的清真寺以圓屋頂及尖塔為特徵，其中六個尖塔的回教清真寺在全世界上非常罕見。

據說是當時建築師誤會蘇丹的指令，回教的聖地麥加克爾白的清真寺也同樣有六座宣禮塔，有逾越聖
地傲慢之嫌。

寺內有其中一部分使用土耳其瓷器名鎮伊兹尼克燒制的磚塊，以藍色為主，也因此博得了藍色清真寺的美名。

藍色清真寺建造時未使用一根鐵釘钉，結構堅固牢靠，外觀造型獨特，400年間历經數次大地震都安然無恙。

清真寺的260個小窗、2萬多塊藍色磁磚、數百塊地毯和許多阿拉伯文書法藝術作品是該寺的重点文物。

I have been to some mosque only a few times but what I really like is how you take out your clothes and walk on the carpet. It is really comfortable.

I also like the feeling of barefoot stepping on the carpet of the Blue Mosque, and enjoy  the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere .
