LOCAL GUIDES or GUIDES LOCAUX for translations into French? ...

I have made some videos as a LOCAL GUIDE and I suppose, that LOCAL GUIDE is the international term for the program, but I am not sure ...

The translator tool from Google always translates LOCAL GUIDES to GUIDES LOCAUX if I use it to get a first version of a translation - which I am working on then.

I know that in France some terms are different from the rest of the world and that there are often inventions of new words if the government does not accept an anglicism.

Anyway, I try out several forms of headlines for my YouTube channel but I really would like to know what is officially right at this place.

Will the translator "learn" it, if I send in many corrected translations? ...

I think you got it right.

One local guide is " un guide local".

Two local guides is "Deux guides locaux"
