Years of timeline-based review suggestions disappeared -- "No new places to review right now"

Hey everyone --

I had been working through my backlog of reviews from my timeline under the 'Contribute' tab on the web interface (my location history had been running for 4+ years) and after completing one review, my entire timeline-based review suggestion list depopulated. Now it reads "No new places to review right now." My timeline itself is still populated (and continuing to populate), and I still get suggested reviews based on my timeline on mobile and still have a backlog of timeline-based questions to answer.

EDIT: I have identified the problem, replicated it, and provided a stopgap solution in my last reply to this thread!

Things I've tried:

-- Visited a new location today, ensured it went on my timeline. No review suggestion.

-- Pausing and resuming location history. Nothing.

-- Completed other reviews, ratings, questions, and fact checks. Nothing.

Anyone got a lead for me on how to fix this? It's incredibly annoying to go through reviewing things via my timeline rather than the Maps interface.

Hi @Atsukot, I actually don't think that my timeline itself has been affected -- I could be wrong, but I don't have any evidence that it is -- so the thread you linked isn't discussing my issue. The problem is with Google Maps' suggestions for places to review based on my timeline -- it suddenly says "No new places to review" despite new places appearing on my timeline and a large backlog of places I've been that I haven't reviewed.

Hi @OliverPeckham, I have some questions for you.

1) When did you notice the issue? 
2) Can you check it by both of desktop and app (mobile) to see if you see the same problem?
3) Can you please share the screenshots (both desktop and app)? We need them in order for us to investigate your issue.

(1) I noticed it about two days ago while I was reviewing/rating things from that suggestion box. If I recall, I had just reviewed something and the list depopulated. I assumed it was a temporary bug.

(2) It's hard to tell. I've attached screenshots of the contribution suggestions I continue to get on mobile, BUT none of those suggestions are new, as far as I know -- the place I visited today, for instance, doesn't have a review suggestion.

(3) Sure, I've attached four photos. One shows the place I visited today on my timeline, one shows the main depopulated list with the "No new places" notice, one shows my old timeline (which is still populated), and one shows the suggestions I see on mobile.

Hey again @Atsukot -- sorry to tag you again, but when I was answering the suggested questions on my mobile device, I refreshed the app and am now experiencing the same error as on the web interface. All prompts to add reviews, ratings, answer questions, etc. have completely disappeared from both interfaces. I've attached a screenshot.
