I actually see a peer review process being a better solution to being able to assess your answer as the solution where I've seen other answers that were better fit than the so called solution. Being able to claim my answer is the solution on my own tells the rest of the community to not even bother because that moderator will select his/her as the only one that matters. That disenfranchises an entire community because one or two people wanna showboat. A peer review process means that someone else is assessing the solution and determining whether a true solution was given and not just assumed. Most humans, as is human nature to do, don't state something thinking it's wrong, we automatically believe the veracity of our statements. And therefore we automatically would accept our own answer as the right one. Don't allow that if you want to keep the positive interaction going between us bottom feeding regular people and the elitist moderators.
