B.  Tagging People

• Quick Tagging 
  • Similar to the existing tagging by typing '@' then username
  • Only Active People will be included in this way of tagging
    • As there are still too many duplicate Usernames, and existing Pop-up list will not show all matches
    • Active People defined as Last logon time is less than 28 days ago.
• Full Tagging
  • Launched by a button on the Quick Tagging List
  • All Matching Valid Users will be shown
  • One Click, and the correct selection(s) will be put into the post
  • Can also user Connect UserID for searching
    • Main use case is for tagging People having local language name that I cannot input
  • Can also select People to tag from Friends list
• Auto People Tag detection 
  • If People Tags are entered as Text in message body, Connect will prompt for corrections / confirmations
• Username
  • A Username Generator to suggest unique usernames
  • Allow User to change Usernames anytime
  • Maintain a full history of changes
• Number of Tags allowed per Post
  • 9 + Level
    • So Level 1 username can tag 10 people
    • Level 10 can tag 19 people per post

Wow , great request , its really difficult to find the real guy with all the duplicate , inactive names showing up and the names written in the local languages , i think this is a very good request.

I always think about how to make it sounds like reasonable for Google to give us more.

Hi @YK1001 nice proposal, I agree with you at 90%

In my opinion there is no needed for a so large nomber of tagging, even if I can understand that tagging is a very popular activity (recently)

I know where you are from, @ErmesT.  Tagging is always all my mind.

When we accumulate more Privileges with our raising of Level, we will also understand more that Privileges are not to be used lightly.

Privileges allow us more Flexibility when there are Clear and Present Need.  We should restrain more when we have more.
