A. Multilingual aspects of Connect
1. User Language Perfences
- When a user never changed / confirmed the UI Language perference, Connect should prompt for UI Language selection upon logon.
- Similar to Linux Installation, the very first screen is to offer of Language used during the Installation
- Make separate Options for UI language and Content language
- Content Translation should default to Content language option(s)
- By default, Connect should only display Posts that are in my Content language option(s), overridable with Language Filters
- When writing Posts, Connect should allow Auto-detect the Language in use. And allow User override if detections are wrong.
- Spelling Checkers should work correctly according to Detected Language
- This Language Detection will allow Connect to present content based on Language Filter easily.
- Embeded Translation shoud NOT Auto-translate UI elements
2. Presentation of Language Specific Contents
- Language Filter
- To select posts in particular language(s), no matter at which "Board" they are posted.
