Why can't google allow temporary incident reporting like accidents, Trafic jams, Police speed cams ... ? Waze has it. Isn't Waze owned by Google?

Hi @RajievR yes Waze is owned by Google. The two applications are kept separate, however some of the information reported in Waze does become available in Maps.
If you want features such as reporting of obstacles etc. then please use Waze.
Waze is purely for navigation and has some specialised options that Maps does not. Only Maps has the Local Guides features.

Thanks for your reply @PaulPavlinovich
I noticed some info you mentioned. If I'm correct Google may have got the traffic info feature/idea from waze.
Waze has ton of features that Google maps could use. By default MAPS are used for Navigation, imho. So is there a specific reason Google not adapting features like
IMHO, addition of these features will make Google Maps whole.

So many negatives that I can't get the message.
Aw, understood the NDA part.
