Was it ever considered to give Local Guides some insight into the status of Google Maps feature requests that have been submitted? This would obviously require some form of moderation to come up with a properly formulated list of feature requests (to avoid duplicates and irrelevant ones). For each request a status could then be added: accepted / rejected / under consideration / will be evaluated again in the future / in development.
This might soon become a go to page for a lot of regular Connect-visitors, and would be a great one to point newbies to.
