I am very Angry as some one stole my Username

So I was gone a few weeks without being logged in to this community and after logging back in, I was prompted to change my username. The username I always used is now taken. How can that be? Can everyone hi-jack each others username if they don't log in all the time to claim it? what kind of forum do you run here?

BTW: That's why I am not a big fan of this website and as mentioned in an earlier post. You have the same fragmentation issue with local guides as with your Android OS. You have this website then there are parts on the Google Maps website and here and there. How about centralizing it all in one place and with a good overview for easy user experience? It's in the guidelines to your android apps...
