[FR] Images added through external URL should not count on Connect 1000 photos limit

Before adding this screenshot

Hi team, as I learned that there was a 1000 images limit on Connect, I've started to upload photos elsewhere, and share through a link.

But, as you can notice, this practice also count against 1000 photos limit.

 After adding this screenshot through external URL

Why external URLs are being uploaded to connect instead of simply listed inside the POST?

Please, change this behaviour, I really need screenshots to help other Local Guides in my activity.

Did you hit by the Connect Photos lot by only insert Photo URLs?

My impression, URLs Pics do not count towards the 1000 photos limit.

I'm adding photos using the connect button, but instead of uploading a pic, i'm inserting an URL; but this seems to cause an upload to Connect too, instead of only inserting the <img src> tag

As I'm approaching the limit, i will start using <img src> tag to insert images... 😞

@LucioV great , very good point you made , external links should not be counted in the limit or increase the limit would help , i know its impossible for some one to explain in words about something a image will give a clear idea , so increasing the limit will help.

Thanks @LuisRG this could make me more effective in helping users, although i've already reached my photo limit.
