Connecting 360 photo feature ?

Hi everyone,

Need help in detail about connecting/joining two or more 360 pics taken in the same area from different location point/angle.

I just know that it can be possible, but how to do it ?

If anyone has done it successfully and understand this process, I'll request to elaborate it in detail.

Thanks

Re: Connecting 360 photo feature ?

Hii @TrendingT

If you wants to Connect two or more 360 Photos please read this

Connect your 360 photos Automatically connect photos

Your photos may be automatically connected if:

  • You’ve created and published a set of 360 photos according to these spacing recommendations.
  • “Geotag 360 photos” is turned on. To turn geotag on, tap the Menu Menu and then Settings next to “Geotag 360 photos,” turn the switch on.
  • You've earned and activated the trusted badge in the Street View app or you’ve used auto-capture in the Street View app to create a set of 360 photos. Auto-captured photos may be automatically connected when the photos are spaced within two small steps of each other (1 m / 3 ft) when indoors and within five steps of each other (3 m / 10 ft) when outdoors. To get the spacing right, you shouldn't run, bike, or drive.

To turn auto-connect on or off, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the Street View app .
  2. Tap the Menu .
  3. Choose Settings.
  4. Next to “Auto-connect 360 photos,” turn the switch on or off.

After taking your photos, they may be automatically connected within 24 hours. If your photos aren’t automatically connected, read the instructions below on how to manually connect photos.

Manually connect photos with the connectivity editor

You can connect your 360 photos together using the connectivity editor, so that you can smoothly move from one photo to another.

  1. Open the Street View app .
  2. On the “Profile” tab, find a photo and tap Select.
  3. Tap at least two photos that you want to connect. To select all photos, go to the top right and tap More More and thenSelect all.
  4. In the top right, tap More More and then Connect 360 photos.
  5. Your photos will show up on the map as numbered markers. Tap a photo.
  6. Drag each photo to the correct location. You can swipe left and right on the photo to see all directions if you’re not sure about its orientation.
    • Add a connection between two photos: Tap the light line.
    • Delete a connection: Tap the solid line.
    • Align a photo: Slide the compass at the bottom of the screen to make sure that the photo markers align correctly.
    • Save your work: Tap Save Done.
  7. To try your new connection, open your photo in the "Profile" tab and tap the white arrow. To edit or delete a connection, select the same photos from your collection and tap the lines.

Tips:

  • To change the location of a photo, drag the numbered marker to the correct location. 360 photos taken indoors or near tall buildings will probably need their locations corrected.
  • To fix the alignment of a photo, drag the compass at the bottom of a photo. You’ll know the orientation is correct in the viewer when the numbered circles, representing photos, show up at the right locations in the viewer.
  • Before saving your connections, you can preview the photo transitions by tapping the numbered markers inside the viewer. If something seems off, adjust the locations of the numbered markers until the alignment looks right.
