@daveL Hola Dave, los puntos pueden tardar hasta 24 horas en aparecer en tu perfil, y solo puedes obtener un máximo de 5 puntos por lugar, estas son las diferentes maneras de conseguir puntos;
Subir 1 o más fotos al mismo lugar = 1 punto
Subir 2 fotos y 1 reseña al mismo lugar = 2 puntos
Escribir 5 reseñas de 5 lugares distintos = 5 puntos
Responder a 1 o más preguntas locales sobre el mismo lugar = 1 punto
Realizar 1 o más cambios para el mismo lugar = 1 punto
Añadir un lugar nuevo = 1 punto
En el caso de que hayas cumplido una de las acciones, hayan pasado 24 horas y todavía no tengas los puntos, contacta con el soporte de Google.

También hay que tener en cuenta otra cosa, @daveL.
Y es que sólo dan puntos las ediciones (o adiciones) de lugares que sean POI (puntos de interés). Es decir, un museo, un restaurante, una tienda, etc.
Pero como bien ha comentado @_FabianP_, aunque cambies varios datos de un mismo lugar, sólo obtienes un punto (porque es por lugar, no por campo de información editado).

Podrías utilizar el campo "ubicación" para marcar la ubicación de alguna de ellas (y en tu primer mensaje, editarlo y marcar el del otro restaurante). Así, en el mapa que aparece a la derecha aparecen los marcadores de las que son, para ti, las mejores alitas de Cuernavaca. Y si alguien comparte algún otro sitio más adelante, podrá añadir la ubicación y se irá añadiendo al mapa 🙂
