Bisnis Lewat Media Sosial

Sekarang banyak bermunculan bisnis yang menawarkan barang lewat media sosial seperti facebook, instagram, twitter dan lain-lain.

Kebanyakan menyelesaikan transaksi lewat telepon dan barangnya dikirim atau diantar. Atau kalau pelanggan datang harus janjian dulu

Kenyataannya mereka memang mempunyai lokasi usaha tapi tidak terbuka untuk umum. Lebih mirip tempat pribadi.

Apakah bisnis seperti ini bisa ditempatkan di Google Maps?

Seandainya tidak apakah sebaiknya ditandai sebagai "tidak pernah ada" ?

@Budisoft  The purpose of the Google My Business program is to help people navigate to and find information on a company prior to listing. Google My Business is for two types of companies. A brick and mortar store that is staffed set hours that someone can come and visite. The other group is for Service Area Business like a plumber or electrician that visits a customer within a set radius and provides a service.  Here is a link to how to add a service area business.  As they describe it "Not all local businesses serve their customers from a brick-and-mortar storefront. Some businesses operate from a home address. Others are mobile and don't have a storefront that customers visit."  

Back to the general type of listing is a link on who qualifies for a Google My Business listing the eligible listing is as follows:  

"In order to qualify for a Google My Business listing, a business must make in-person contact with customers during its stated hours.

A good explanation regarding the general outline of who and who does not qualify is at this link below. 

Guidelines for representing your business on Google

Exception: ATMs, video-rental kiosks, and express mail drop boxes are permitted. If you add these locations, you must include contact information for customers to get help."  At both links, there is more information. You certainly will find examples that are listings that do not fit the intent of the program and are spam or listings that should not be on the maps

Berarti business yang saya maksudkan di atas tadi, dapat digolongkan sebagai " Service Area Business" dan bisa berada dalam Google Maps.

Masalah lain kalau kita lihat di Google maps sepertinya sulit menentukan apakah itu adalah " Service Area Business" atau  "A brick and mortar store"

Karena untuk contoh di atas mempunyai kategori "toko"

Apakah seharusnya diberi kode atau kategori yang berbeda supaya bisa membedakannya?

@Budisoft  The service area business will often not display an address and the listing will often show a red outline of what the service area is on the map. It can be a little different is the location is staffed and a service area location since then it would show the address.
