Like you, Waldo loves exploring new places, and he’s off on another adventure with friends Wenda, Woof, and Wizard Whitebeard in Google Maps and you’re invited — even that pesky Odlaw’s tagging along.

Join Waldo and friends for a global scavenger hunt on Google Maps and earn new badges along the way. Waldo is sharing his location on Maps and it’s up to you to search that location to find him and his friends among the crowds. It might even earn you a new badge!

To play, open Google Maps for Android, iOS, or desktop. You may need to update your app, but you’ll know Waldo is ready for an adventure when you see him waving on the side of your screen. Press “Play” and let the journey begin! Share your Waldo search on social with the hashtag #WaldoMaps or #WallyMaps

Recently On 1st of April we were getting an addition badge on the basis of challenge called Where's Waldo Master 

I Completed the all tasks and got the high ranked badge 

How many of you completed that challenge .comment me if you completed 

It was awesome experiance for me

 I have to say I really enjoyed that feature where you can play around with where is Waldo.  But for some reason it only lasted for a week or so. Is it just on my device or have they taken that feature out for everyone.

@SamBabaei Hi there. Where's Waldo in Google Maps was launched in honor of April Fools Day (April 1), so the opportunity to find Waldo only lasted from 3/31 to 4/1. We're glad you liked the feature! Where's Wally Master

Hi everyone this is Mopelola Adeseye. I am a local level 5 guide and I would like to just raise how I managed to achieve being a Where's Wally Master in the local guides activity which took place on the 1st of April 2018. I used the zoom function in my phone to scan each image to find Wally and his four friends this took me approximately 2 hours. 

After this activity, in particular of receiving my Where's Wally master badge, I thought to myself that it would be good if I travelled to another country too become more comprehensive as a local guide for Google, as I found that trying to find Wally and his four friends in each location across the globe was quite  enthrilling and made me want to imitate the main character.

Hello @matthieu_claus_ always nice to come across another level 10 from Belgium!

Waldo is no longer around on Maps. If you check the date of the original post, you will notice it was posted on an April 1st... The Maps team always does something 'special' that day. In 2018 you could earn a Waldo badge, but that was only for a few weeks back then.
