151 top Local Guides from 59 countries attended Connect Live 2018 to connect with each other and share their feedback with Google. The group included professors, marketing experts, parents, accessibility champions, LGBTQ allies, and more. Together, they shared their ideas, attended talks given by Googlers about upcoming product features, and learned some tips for sharing even better contributions on Google Maps.

Watch the video below to see what happened when they gathered in San Francisco and visited Google's Mountain View campus for Connect Live 2018.

@brittym I still have to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming for those 2.5 days!! What a whirlwind of events and activities we had. Because of this event,  I have made so many wonderful friends and had the time of my life.  What an amazing event to bring such diverse group of people, with similar passions to help their community, all under one roof! Makes me proud to call all these Local Guides as my friends. Also, thank you for arranging great variety of food for people with special dietary requirements.

Thanks so much @brittym for making me a part of such a great event, it was unforgettable moments and friends that we gained there. I would sincerely thanks all of the Googlers, LG Managers and Moderators for the hard efforts they spent daily and during the event.

And for whoever missed that one, you still can do it, be a real contributor to Google Maps, Street View and the Connect community, help others and create new friendships but of course pay attention to the rules and guidelines of the program beside keep an eye on the spamming. Push your local community to meet and do great achievements to the global community. You still can do it!
