The goal? Add reviews of public toilets on Google Maps to raise awareness and help people find clean, working facilities across India.

Because of Local Guides like you, we’ve added over 6,000 toilet reviews across India in just one month (that’s over 1,000 reviews a week!). Thank you for joining forces for this powerful cause.

We were especially excited to see Local Guides organize meet-ups to help add public toilet information on Google Maps. Check out some of these #LooReview meet-up recaps to see how people are coming together to support Swachh Bharat.

Great info.  For Google, on another topic: there ought to be a way to get locations of fruit/vegetable stands in the city.

The same way Swach Bharat campaign is launched in India (several years back) such facility is much required I the neibouring Asian Nations too - such as broadly termed as Rest Room.

Just for the sake of refreshing oneself for an hour or so for taking bath and dressing oneself during the course of travel while changing a transportation, one needs to book a room with more than  $30 for an hour's refreshing.

Now it is the need of hour for the Local Guides to identify such facilities integrated with Public Toilets & bring it to the awareness of the tourists/travellers.

Thirupathi (a pilgrim Centre in Andhra Pradesh in India) is the best in this facility  where such Toilets are available for a huge 200 millions  visitors in a year and most of such facilities are free,  undertaken by the State authorities.

Nowhere such free facilities are available as is available in Thirupathi (AP)

it is a good idea . where ever we are go there is where have a tiolet (washroom) we dont know so then other people we ask to shame . so now comes on google maps just search nearest tiolets then view near to you.
