Reflecting on a great week at Connect Live 2018

Over 100 Googlers from across Google participated in the event, whether it was by hosting a talk or by attending our daily Googler Office Hours where Local Guides could bring their issues and ideas directly to the product manager working on that area.

Over the course of the two days, attendees participated in their choice of four sessions, chosen out of 19 topics in total which ranged from Make Your Own Street View, to Shaping the Future of Map Editing, to Local Guides Helping Local Businesses.

While we hosted three parties in total—and wow, were they fun—we debuted the Local Guides Lounge, a place where they could gather to play games, share ideas, and get to know each other even better.

Due to work I attend scientific conferences which are often boring, but this one though not scientific was probably the most dynamic, filled with fun activities and unforgettable. These photos bring back sweet memories. Yay! Thanks @TraciC

LG Connect Live 2018 was one of a kind event to me, really my life is already changed and a lot of mind concepts has been switched. Thanks @TraciC and rest of all the great Google teams, for the great moments, information and engagement we have experienced during those 2.5 days. Trust me, life is not the same after the event, at least for myself!

It was an amazing couple of days, and so much was able to be crammed in to that time - in a good way! The energy and vibe was fantastic! I have enjoyed seeing some of the photos attendees are posting, and those connections among the attendees can only help the community to grow stronger and better.

Please keep contributing to Google Maps & Local Guides Connect  with dedication & perfection and await the announcement some time in March 2019 (may be even earlier)

Introduce yourself in Local Guides Connect Forum.... do not forget to add your bragging rights of your achievements in every field of your choice.

Impress the administrators with amazing & useful post of Ideas, discussions that may improve the Local Guides Program & Purpose which ultimately benefit the layman in the world.

Never forget to appreciate the best performers in the Group of Local Guides.

Many of us reach the highest level because we could spare lot of leissure time which we dedicate, with aptitute, to Google Maps & the related activities.

But please do not under estimate a person of Lower Level (under 5) in Google classification;
....for, given the time to spare and opportunity to get involved with earnest zeal he will elevate himself to the highest level - no doubt..

Please let there be justification of your pressing the Like Button ( need not be just for count) that may result on your involvement in it  by reading the post. Let the individuality be not spoiled just for the craze.

Your service to the community is the primary consideration rather than the dream for California. ...of course the Honour of Invitation by Google is greater than many other things in Life! It will come its own way.
