We are excited to announce that Guiding Stars is returning for 2021! Last year, we recognized 50 Local Guides like you who went above and beyond. We’re doing it again this year and we want to hear your nominations for fellow Local Guides. Share the awesome stories of others in the community by using this form to nominate them.
Things have continued to change around the world, but one thing has remained the same: the passion and dedication of the Local Guides community. Local Guides were instrumental (and continue to be) in helping others through their contributions on Google Maps and beyond. To close out 2021, we want to take a moment to celebrate and thank the community by shining a light on some of its many stars.
We already have some Local Guides in mind, but we know that there are so many people out there who have stories we might not know. If you know someone who deserves to be a Guiding Star this year, nominate them by using this form. You can also nominate yourself, we just ask that you include as much information as possible as to why they (or you) should be a Guiding Star.
Nominations are due by July 22, so don’t wait to fill out the form to let us know about deserving Local Guides. Don’t forget, you can also use the form at any time to let us know about community members doing great things (for potential inclusion on Connect).
