Happy World Photography Day, Local Guides!
Today we celebrate photography as a way to capture the world and express ourselves creatively. When you share your photos on Google Maps, you help people everywhere make informed decisions. A good photo can inspire others to add a place to their travel bucket list, book a ticket to a new destination, make a reservation at that restaurant with a delicious-looking menu, or drop by their local thrift store to check the latest items. It can make jaws drop and stomachs rumble.
We’ve seen thousands of inspiring images of places, cultures, and cuisine here on Connect, too. Hundreds of Local Guides have joined @AdamGT's photography leaderboards (if you haven’t yet — check them out!). So what better way to celebrate World Photography Day than showcase some beautifully captured photos from around the world, shared by Local Guides like you on Google Maps?
