Trust score indicator in contribution section will be helpful for Local Guides and a solution for number of queries. Please Lead.

Thank you for your idea, @NeerajKumarIndia! We need more information to better understand what you’re suggesting. Could you give some examples of points of interested you would use the trust indicator for and how would it be different than the review stars?

@IrrPavlova Thanks for revert. I am suggesting for Trust Score Indicator instead of Level. It will help us to be more perfect to achieve 100% in each section of contribution. Level 10 or more points will get also a chance of being 100% and to maintain it.

I will prefer Trust Score instead of Level in my Contribution profile. As with level 10 my trust score is not at par then level stands for nothing. Trust score should be identity of We Local Guides In Place Of Level. Trust score indicator will help us to improve our Mapping Skills whereas Level only allow our greed to chase and achieve the highest at earliest. Trust score of all field/sections can be Flashed as overal Trust Score in place of Level In Contribution Section.

Good idea, but a lot of thought has to be given to this. I fear here it can be misued too if made public how trustworthy someone was it'll feel Black Mirror like, from their 'Nosedive' / social credit orientated episode if this info is public.

1. I would then fear for the program to publically categorise people as trustworthy in such a way would lead to people feeling alienated. It could also be used in social stigma and disscrimination in things outside LG's 
   
   
2. Instagrams user pod schemes is a great example of how trust is massaged. I spend a lot of time cracking these to know the 'honest' influencers. I find painfully few honest ones exist.
   
   With local guides having a power to massage results for businesses as being trust worthy, it could make it a lucrative way to 'buy' positioning in local SEO. I for one wouldn't like to see this happen.
   
   I myself work in digital marketing, but as I said at CL 2018, there are a lot of digital marketing agencies dedidated to good and bad manipulation of review and maps.
   
   
3. If there's a trust rating for everything above I seriously suggest that it is kept internal to Google who then adjust 'trust' to a score of your reviews showing. If your articles / lists etc are good, then they should be shown in searches. 

The level system isn't idea, but it's abstract enough to keep it 'nice'.

@Phunky Trust score will be as same effects as Level. Did You Find Anyone Misusing Levels ? Atleast we will get a chance to increase our Trust Score by more research and inputting authentic and compact data to Maps. In level system where you find any chance of improvement. At present only chase behind levels to achieve at the earliest. Both contributor and whom contributing are in loss at present due to least knowledge regarding what to contribute on Maps. Only a blind run behind levels.

It will also beneficial regarding your saying about CL18.

What will any one do with Level 10 if having Trust Score of 20% or less. Even in full life span contributor will not know about theirs Worth.

Do you think it is best practice that you are not knowing about yourself Trust Worthy and someone having your Certificate with them.

Can you guide, How anyone can improve theirs Trust Score without knowing same which matters a lot for contributor. A number of contributor even not knowing what Trust Score is.

You are a knowledgeable person and great respect to your views but I will continue with my idea.

Can you explain better? A trust indicator is already present and linked to our account, but we are not aware of and we cannot check it.

Yes, I agree, a colour code could be enough, without disclosing the real trust level 🙂
