Translator for Q&A

Dear Team,

I'm Bharath Local Guide-6, India.

Have been helping others via sharing Photos, Reviews, Suggestions, Q/A via Google Maps Platform.

I got a situation, where I felt to have the Feature 'Google Language Translate' option where users post their questions in their regional languages. So that LG's can translate the question into English and answer the same. And vice-versa for users.

In my situation, the question was in Russian Language asking behalf of treatment provided in the Hospital located in Hyderabad, India.

@TraciC Let me know if there is an existing option to do so.

I often get Google requests for help via Q&As but sometimes the questions come in another language.  To provide the best possible reply a translate function is needed or allow cut and paste of question into the translate app.

I am using google maps early testing app, I have seen this feature where google already introduced. The reviews are translated by google and also you will see original text also.

I dont want to talk more about it. Google already introduced this feature.

But my scenario is different from your point. It's not about the Reviews.

If User provides a question in Google Maps in their own language(Russian in my scenario), there should be an option for whom would like to reply to that question by Choosing 'See Translation/Google Translate' option under the question. So it is easy to answer their question. 

And a user can view the answer in their own language. 

I haven't seen any translate option in my screenshot. My scenario is in Google Maps Q/A point not with Review part just making it clear.

Friends, 

As you know in cities multi linguistic people live. Our contributions also involved from our visits  to other countries or states

 Sometime I get Questions to answer but of other language.  But I know the answer since I don't understand the question I have to skip it. 

So if the translator option introduced in question and answer section will be of great use.

I am not Able to understand many Indian languages..

Agree 100% @JohnPeter  It would be of great help in answering questions posed in a different language. I currently use the Google Translate app to be able to respond to a question in a different language, but that takes extra time. I only do it because it's kind of a challenge, but I would rather the translate option be available right in Q&A.  Regards, Koby @
