Hey LG's,

LG's Homepage now has Top Kudoed authors and Top Solution Authors.

There could be more statistics which can create a healthy leaderboard kinda of.  Top 3 could be featured on the homepage, There could also be a statistics page feature several categories such as

List of most contributed photos LG this week,

List of most contributed photos LG this month,

List of top photo views posted by an LG this week,

List of top photo views posted by an LG this month,

List of top LG with helpful comments this week, 

List of top LG with helpful comments this month.  

List of top LG by Level points.

Most answered Q&A in maps help section

I thought this would be a motivation of LG's to reach the top spot indirectly contribute more to the community.

Hello Local Guides ,

                    i Believe that the previous Connect used to show the top Kudoed Author and the top solution provided authors and we could sort it down by filtering on day,week and month basis . That used to be a Booster to many local guides and i feel that small Dashboard is missing in the Connect 2.0 .

If that could be brought back it would be great , what say fellows .

Comment down " Do you need the kudos dash board back ?"

Publishing occasionally or random a Leader Board pertaining to each locality (say Navi Mumbai) for Top 10 or Top 50 LG so as to motivate positively and to know them better as per locality.is a new idea.

I think,  it must be used in the positive sense and not  for unhealthy competition or  comparison purpose,  but just for useful information. There may be  arguments against it as a bad behavior or discourage to beginners.etc.But as an incentive.for top badge holders hoping  that the details  are not  for ambitious unhealthy competition but just knowing necessary details of them  which may not be  literally.of no use or no interest to others.

An unbiased  and valuable opinion from other LG 's are welcome  being a new idea to participate and make it lively . Google being the master and key of information never scarce of information and if additional information is needed  i think  it is relevant with time whatever individual opinion having disadvantages or advantages.We may be getting other information from so many other sources. 

A  Leader Board  will surely gives a birds' eye view of the LG's of our locality not for the points or unhealthy competitive purpose   but for  the people to get  first hand  knowledge since it is updated at random. Hope LG having a vision of the new idea since GM is dynamic always wants information with time being the top and hence the users have the right for the advantages taking in to consideration of majority views instead of keeping mum or accepting what a minority opinion.
