Top Rated attraction in my city

When you travel to a city, will you winder what is the most famous attraction in this city?

I think that will be great if there are some way to show the top 10 reviewed POI of the city.  It can even easily show a list, that will be very helpful to travellers.

スマートフォンで私の住む都市を表示すると、有名なレストランなどが上位１０件ほど表示されます。リストはGoogleのアカウントのようで選定基準は分かりませんが、投稿による評価を機械的にデータ収集し判断しているようで、地元の人が絶対にお薦めしない場所が含まれている事があります。

これら食事や観光地などの評価に関しては、地元のローカルガイドが別個に選定したリストを作成でき、公開できるようにした方が良いと私も思います。

I liked the idea of collection of information at a single place for easy access to the visitors in the city. It is a logical approach to collect all the attraction of the city in Google map for the help of visitors. 

There may arise a problem. Suppose you and me are from same city. We both prepared a lost of tourist attraction on our city but your and mine list have different places. In this case there will be more number of collections available for those cities where more mapmaker contributors live.

@KULDIPS,  thanks for voiting my idea.

I think the list I mentioned is a automatic list from Google, not really the list from you or me.

Google actually already doing so for restaurants in small area of some cities, but I believe they should do it in city scope for attractions. (feels like Google Trips)

its a greate idea and i think it should be categories vise like top 10 hotel, top 10 tourist attraction etc.

Hi @Brett. With the Explore tab, you can see top attractions and lists of the best places from people and brands like you and me. We are not implementing the top 10 places reviewed in each city at this time. Thank you.

Thanks @TraciC , I raised this before the launch of Explore tab.  It's good to see I have the same vision as Maps team.
