Time to shine. Reality Local Guides with Reality Local Business and Tourism interviews.

 Introducing Reality Local Guides with  video Livestreaming via Hangouts on Local Guides meetups and extend the meetups to interview special features events. 

Everybody likes reality videos. Let's introduce both connect interviews with members, Googlers plus Connect moderators showing and talking live about their Local areas with YouTube Live streaming via Google Hangouts sharing here with continued  interactive questions and answers on a special new feature "Reality Local Guides  Connect" interviews. 

We can share the Chats and interviews too. We can feature it here on Connect plus when we hold the events on YouTube Livestreaming via Hangouts we plan and post lists of notifications so then people will join in the interviews both as invited guests on the Hangouts plus through YouTube Live Chat we can get thousands to take part. Everyone can contribute extra questions there as well. Plus we can continue the interviews here and via G+ specialist collections! 

This feature can be including chats with local guides from your local areas, plus chats with others locals in your communities, showing people what fun we have and they can be involved in. 

Also we can do live reality Google Maps Local Guides Connect interviews with business owners and tourists location representatives. 

We can interview local politicians about Local area events and building plans for the areas. 

We can interview entertainers and entertainment venues. Plus artists and creative people. Musicians including all types with solo artists, bands and Orchestras too. 

We can interview schools; principals, teachers and students. Plus universities: professor's, students and tutors. 

We can interview Local sports starts at all levels; both current and Future stars. 

We can do it monthly with the same people and see progressive changes on the YouTube recorded versions. Seeing the changes over time as it happens. 

We can have links here in the special Connect feautre area. All with links on Google Maps too. 

We can plan the events ahead of time giving plenty of time for preparation. Time to give the subjects time to prepare with questions sent to them with the invitations requests, so they are prepared also.

For clarity @Justine2807 do you mean that you're asking for a Google video team to follow every Meetup or you want the Meetup organisers to host a hangout during their Meetup?

Many people wouldn't be able to do this because connectivity may not exist in their region (remember Australia is blessed with pretty good coverage, the rest of the world isn't always so lucky) or data might be prohibitively expensive for them.

Perhaps encouraging Local Guides to take videos during their Meetups and share them on Maps and other services when they get back to their homes might work better?

As an aside tagging lots of people is considered spammy behaviour and can have consequences. The moderators get enough notifications to deal with. At least one of us will read every post.

No of course not, I do not mean a Google team. They do the best YouTube videos for Local Guides. These are not like that at all. The way I mean is what we have done many examples of already. 

It seems that you are not understanding the type.of interactive videos I mean. 

Examples of our previous meetups will be supplied. 

We have been able to cover any losses of wifi on most occassions. 

I have never been associated with spam and never will be.

As pointed out by @PaulPavlinovich connectivity may be xhallchalle in some areas in terms of not availability or expensiveness.

Thank you so much for all your support. I really appreciate all you do. As you know we have had many meetups that included supporting each other on YT via Hangouts with Live chat. We always workout a way around the Wifi issue.

I was hoping we can make it official. Then it can happen for others. There are already other groups in Connect who do it also. So making it an option with delegated time slots will make it easy for everyone. 

I will give some of our examples and see what others think. So hopefully we will get more people commenting here about it when they see what we have done.

Since I have been doing it from the past so doing it with more attention is a more exposure and encouragement. I am always ready to make to the optimum level despite of poor network in the remote parts of the region. Thank you so much for stepping with the post to come with more organized way @Justine2807.

You could do this now in an "official"-ish way @Justine2807 

• Create a YouTube Live link and schedule it for your Meetup (other services would work too e.g. hangouts, hangout-meeting if you're gsuite, IG Live, Periscope, Twitch, etc.)
• Add this link into your Meetup Description and post about it as a comment
• After your Meetup starts use the announcement to repeat the link so attendees can join if they desire to
• Go Live!

I was not meaning anything to do with business except that we visit local businesses in Google Maps Local Guides Connect meetups. So that is where it is not about business at all in this suggestion.

I was hoping for more contributions and seeing others who want this to be done, as many of us are already doing it in our meetups at this time, so closing my suggestion without understanding it is where I must say, that I must not have explained it correctly in this post. So I will try to elaborate further....

This message is simply about personal contributions by Local Guides Connect members supporting each other on meetups, so you are never not connecting with other Local Guides Connect members joining each other via YouTube and Hangouts on every event.

It seems you have misunderstood what I am saying. It is as per Local Guides Connect rules and is not suggesting business related connections at all. It is all about personal connections and supporting each other.

Hello @Justine2807, thank you for the explanation. I understood that you suggested a fun way to connect Local Guides; however, we are unable to implement the idea of the Reality Local Guides at this time.
