Street View in night mode

imagining how beautiful and perhaps more colorful lights of our cities all over the world in the evening / night, the idea is to take pictures creating a new world view in night vision mode that is to review the same places already present on SV but 'showing also the beauty and brightness that they have at night through the lights of the streets of the squares, of the shops. It is a new way of getting to know places in the world seen in an environment where lights and colors are strongly highlighted.

 Different seasons and times differ in landscape.
I think it would be fun if we could change the shooting from Exif with the time slider.

I made these two spheres this year in the same place even if not far from one another, in a still cold season, the place is the same, one framing the Parish the other was made on the opposite side. The difference in this case for those who see, beyond that are not really of extreme quality, is that for example the view of the day a user can 'see that the square is occupied by the market on all 4 sides and could deepen the his research and then go there in person. The night-time spherical made in the evening shortly after 19.00 pm instead shows a deserted square with a lot of parking, so who intends to go here would discover that the place in the evening / night offers parking and the possibility of walking under the 4 avenues instead of day are occupied by the stalls. This is an example. For example, in the evening / night, thanks to the luminous signs, some commercial activities turn out to be more prominently visual than the daytime vision. the advantage for users could be many factors, for example you can see in these views of areas not quite fully illuminated or in other areas of town or local areas may be in the shade so a person on foot will guess that maybe at night he will prefer to walk in an illuminated area that in the dark. For example, in a street with many shops, commercial activities could buy a "night mode" to obtain a road section that competes or competes (for a single activity) with the possibility to stand out and stand out as an aesthetic aspect of their brands in a visual mode that certainly could be of interest (night vision with lights and colors is a greater aesthetic highlight that a view of the day ... this is my feedback but ') the historical center of a small nucleus of buildings could be more highlighted in a version illuminated in the evening, the characteristics can be multiple.

This is a nocturnal spherical made around midnight in a location for meetings and conferences in which there was an evening of an association with many people present, despite the bitter cold I managed to make this 360 view, and the impact of lights and visual is better than seeing this 1800s dwelling by day.

these former barns and refurbished stables with large crystals and inside beams and exposed bricks have a beautiful appearance. Better than during the day.

I agree.

I don't get your "idea". Currently it's possoble to make such a Street View tours but it's technically not possible to catch such a tour when you are driving by car. There is impossible to catch sharp night shot  with a  reasonable exposure time from the car in the night because of physics laws. When you have a time for exposition you can spheres do like here:

It's only one step ahead from here:

@JacekNK

hello

My idea is still more extensive expansion that could be about the Google car traffic that could (perhaps technically possible to start a sort of new photograph of the streets of the world from dusk onwards maybe as long as the lights allow in this regard to this answer I attach a SV made in Milan in the evening some time ago) surely with the current lenses the degree of definition could be better and in the future always better. Otherwise the fleet of trekkers could operate the same in more or less illuminated streets that could be road sections full of shops (so I imagine a lot of light) or soyl buildings but always lit according to the available lights.

or instead tracing ideas for the business the idea is to propose to the commercial activities their external vision even in night-time mode could be very interesting to the 24-hour activities open or to structures with continuous hours.

@Gio51x

I'm sorry to say but the noise is terrible on those spheres. Even if lenses would have aperture 1, you would need shutter speed not less than 1/100 sec (because of car speed), so iso would have to be so high that always the noise would be smashing. I don't even mention about deep of fileds (with aperture 1 it's not possible to get sharp infinity dof). Night SV is good idea for panoramas taken not from a moving car but from a static tripod.

dear @JacekNK

Then you can 'convert the idea into all SVT that statically and not moving can photograph the whole world not only cities but also outdoor places ... imagine from a path in the dark over a mountain see under the illuminated city ,,, and 360 images also to roads outside areas of activity ...

Really funny, I've had this same idea too recently!

Normal photos would most likely be blurry from long shutter exposure or grainy from large amounts of ISO.

I was thinking maybe infra-red photos?

Hi @Gio51x. As others have noted, it's possible to take Street View Imagery at night, however, it does require devices that have the capabilities for better nighttime imagery so I am marking this idea as closed. Thank you.
