Save as a draft feature

Sometime I cannot input a modification or an update in Google Maps because of a server error, an example below:

or sometime I need to collect additional information before being able to upload the update on Maps, it would be useful to have a "save as a draft" feature that saves the data on my local device or on the server if it is available.

Maps keeps crashing in the midst of writing reviews. Therefore, we desperately need Maps to Auto-Save our work at minimum every 10 or 15 seconds. 

I see that this function is being tested in place here in IDEAS and I hope that we will beging to test it directly in Maps very soon.

I could also see this being used when in an area with poor service, and you may be working in Maps in Offline mode.

Hi @JeanRV, congratulations! Your idea has been implemented by the team. You can see it by going to Google Maps on Android (we will be working to add it for other platforms) and start typing a review. It will be saved as draft and you'll be able to return to it later on. Thanks for sharing your great idea with us.

Please provide a facility to  save Draft Review which can be uploaded at the later stage.

Dear @JeanRV,  just now I faced the same issue.  I have typed a post using mobile,  finally due to error it was lost. 

So I felt to suggest a draft option and I landed in your page.

I saw some forum posts on some local guides being able to save draft reviews on Maps, however i don't such such functionalities on my phone (iOS). It would be really really useful as i like to write detailed reviews and sometimes on the go i might need to suddenly use Maps to navigate and would like to save what i've entered as draft.
