Save/Star Directions

It will be great if we have the option to save preferred direction and list it out in Google Maps as we can do with places. We can now save the route in home screen but it will get populated if we have more directions to save.

I am well aware of the feature to save the direction in Google My Maps. I am asking for a feature to save them in the Google Maps so that we can just click on it to start our journey.

Your suggestion is to have direct connection from Google Maps to Google My Maps, correct?

@sonnyNgwe can save the direction in Google My Maps to plan for the tour and share with other. But I am not talking about the direct connection with Google My Maps as the files in My Maps are already shown in Google My Places Tabs.

The feature I am requesting is not related to Google My Maps. I suggest a feature to directly save a direction shortcut which the user want, so that they shouldn't search for the direction and start their journey, rather directly by clicking on the shortcut created in the Google Maps saved list.

Your suggestion is to create a customized map and then to have the option to save it on the home screen of your device, correct?
