Remove or archive aging or irrelevant pictures

Its quite common to see pictures of a place that were posted during construction or before its been remodeled sometimes even a picture of a dish that the restaurant doesn't offer any more.  It would be good if there was an efficient way to remove those photos.

Hello @chiefzero, a good start would be an extra option in the list you can choose from when reporting a picture as inappropriate, something like 'No longer shows the current situation' .

Same problem here.
I am the Local Guide for our village. I have used the report function countless times to report pictures  (taken not by me but by someone else) that were not taken in our village. No reaction whatsoever and the pictures are still there.
I have e-mailed Local Guides about this, no reaction either.

These pictures are misleading since they promise visitors things they will not see here.

Can anyone remind me what the role of a local guide is, if it is not to help information to remain accurate and uptodate?
