Recommended Local Traders and Services

As a Local Guides user, I would like to be able to see 'at a glance' locally recommended traders and services such as Plumbers, Builders, Yoga, Bookkeepers, Hairdressers, etc

The recommendation should be rated and need a minimum description of services and link to a google search result

I believe this feature is already implemented and available on Google Maps.

Would you mind going over this article - Search for nearby places and explore the area and let me know if that is what you are reffering to?

@jonwatts in what region are you - if you're in US, Australia, Japan, Canada or UK have a look at your My Contributions tab and see if there is a new tab there. If there is, is that the kind of thing you're talking about?

Hi @GeorgesHR @PaulPavlinovich your right that the functionality is currently already there, unfortunalty the range of Services listed in the Explore feature on Google Maps is quite limited.

Hi @jonwatts,

Since what you're suggesting is an already existing feature as mentioned above, I am going to set the status of your idea to "Closed" and relabel it to Google Maps, because it is related to it.
