Publicly Display Badges on Desktop

I think it would be beneficial to local guides if badges (fact finder, reviewer, etc.) were not just displayed in the app on mobile devices, but everywhere, including maps.google.com.  Back in Google Map Maker, badges were displayed publicly.  That being said, I think some local guides that are former Map Maker users might feel more at home at local guides if badges were displayed in all locations.

Hi,

I cannot think of any downside to not displaying badges of the desktop version of Maps -- indeed I only see benefits!  More exposure to the program, and perhaps the most important: more ways of recognizing the contributions of Local Guides.

While mobile likely has a higher use rate than desktop, the more detailed edit reports (perhaps done by the more active contributors) are likely done on desktop, as the mobile platform doesn't (yet) allow the precision available on the desktop versions.

Thank you.
