More points for 360 images uploaded to Maps

As we know, for 2 dimensional image upload, 5 points are rewarded. In this we only requires just point & shoot.

But in case of 360° image, many of contributers posses smartphone these days & from smartphone atleast 42 images are continuously captured. This requires lot of skills & time to get a single perfect 360 image. This consumes approximately 8 minutes to shoot & image file being a size around 4mbs, uploading time depends upon your network speed.

As I'm in Rural Area of India, here network speed are extremely low & max upload speed doesn't increase more than 50 KBps. This also consumes lot of time. Now after all this, we just get only 5 reward points as much as we get from single 2-dimensional image. This isn't fair.

Rewarding points must be increased for 360° image as lot of work & time involved in it.

From my point of view, atleast 15 rewards points must be awarded per 360° image.

I hope this suggestion will be taken under consideration as soon as possible.

I'm pretty sure anyone can agree that creating and uploading a quality 360 image is a longer process compared to flat simple images.

So I'm proposing to add more points to 360 images uploaded and approved on maps.

I propose, +15 points for a single image ( a 360 image could be created using at least 3 fisheye images).

Yeah @LucioV you are right taking 360 photo in DSLR and smartphone is a real challenge than simple still image or a video hope googlers make this thought into reality.

Hi Everyone I believe that it's a very thoughtful and convincing idea, I also think Google maps team would like it too as they're working on taking the Google map to the next level... I mean 360 Map navigation.

I will vote for this great idea. As this will incourage more and more LGs to add 360 pictures/panos and 360 videos in the future. ✌️👌✌️👍👏

Agreed 100%.  Not often do i bring my 360 cam with me when i travel also i think everyone feels the same with composing 360s from cell phones.
