Meet-up Notification

Hello Googlers, 
There are lots of people who contribute in Google Maps but they all are not connect with any local guides social media page/groups or local guides connect official website. When we host/organized any meet up, we can't reach this meet-up news to them. That's why we can't teach them how to improve their contribution on Google Maps.

So, when we host/organized a meet-up in one place then Google Maps can send notification to all near by local guides

I think it will be very helpful. Thanks.

Dear Sir,

Your initiative is very helpful to develop idea and create community for rising Google Local Guides. If we meet in one place after certain period regarding this we will learn more sharing knowledge with each other. We should create a Whatsup messegeing Group/Facebook messenger group (if not created) about this issue.

Pls provide us the list of all local guides social media page/groups or local guides connect official website again. If you host/organized any meet up, we shall reach this meet-up InshaAllah. Your contribution is very effective to improve on Google Maps.

I faced the same problem before. I was not connected with #BangladeshLocalGuides Facebook or Google+ community. So I missed a lot of Meetup and Other things. It will be a great initiative if people get a notification about a meetup.

Makes perfect sense. Members of Local Guides Connect should be able to receive email notifications of meetings happening within a given radius of an area they would specify.

Ditto to your point. I host quarterly food crawls in Houston Texas United States. My meetup attracted more foreigners than local folks. It makes it useless to post meetup on Local Guide Connect.

I think that meet-ups require to add features such as advertisement so that a large number of people can attend them. This advertisement can be added to social platforms for better publicity. This will also help in growing the business.
