Meet-up Alerts for Local Guides

Local Guides come from all walks of life, most of us very enthusiastic about every bit of the program, but without the luxury of constantly checking the meet-up board to see what's being hosted near us. That's why I think we should get the option of signing up for meet-up notifications in our registered Local Guide locations, that way, when a meet-up is hosted by someone within so short a period, you simply get an  email message informing you about the hosted meet-up near your location and you decide if it fits into your calendar or not.

yes @Afzal, that is what i am talking about, at least to those LG who has willingfully subscribed for new meetup posts in thier area.

It would be nice because the official Google plus is not a source of publicity now . Third party apps like faceFace is another source of promotion . 

It is always to have a mail send to all the local guide in that location .

I am trying to find any local guides,any meetings in Greater Manchester area but nothing found.

There must be some better and easy way of finding out other fellow local guides and events. 

I think if local guides can be pinned in their home town with a way to communicate with them,it can help in this problem

There is an idea of why not we could find our besties / partners by browsing their profiles ( among the local guides )..at least this is an platform where one of ours interest Matches..Hence it could work as tool for good social cause too !!
