Map all past contributions

Hi

I am contributing for close to 3 years to Google Maps. I add pictures everywhere I can and I sometimes take the time to visit new areas to find more data to contribute to GM.

My problem is that I don't necessarily always remember where I contributed to Google Maps.

From accessing "My contributions" in Maps, I can scroll down to see little flags of my "recent" contributions, but I have too many contributions so seeing all of them becomes an impossible mission of scrolling down (most browsers will crash when attempting it).

Anyway, in additions to statistics it would be good to provide Guides with a map showing all their contributions on the map, that way we could easily see new areas we have not explored and we should take the time to visit.

In order to be efficient, the contributions need to be methodical and showing guides where they've not been yet is actually very relevant information.

As from what I could apprehend, your suggestion is to have a dedicated system that could arrange your contributions, correct?

It is really peculiar with the idea that they can be sorted geographically, as by location.

We may need just a bit more elaboration of your idea, as it would be really handy for the community to fully understand it. An additional screenshot would be really convenient.

@sonnyNg, what is needed is something similar to this map (shown underneath), but with ALL contributions ever from the guide and zoomable in and out.

With this map I can see which streets and areas I visited recently, but the problem is that it's not possible to get a map with such info for ALL contributions I took care of.

Getting such a map would help me see what areas I didn't visit yet and I can focus my next Google Maps ride.

Perhaps you were mentioning about the mobile version to check contributions, correct?

As you may have such option to have a map based positioning of your reviews or photos on Desktop.

@sonnyNg, this feature would be useful on both the mobile and desktop version of Maps.
Currently this option does not exist on either.

Like I explained in the original description, if I try to list "My contributions" from the desktop it only shows the most recent ones. If I try to scroll down to see all of them, first I need to scroll for hours (and I don't have time to scroll for hours), 2nd it loads all the pictures in the browser which causes the browser to crash and 3rd it limits to 1 category of contributions (reviews, photos, edits) while showing all combined would be useful. There is nothing at all on the mobile app.

So the improvement is needed for both.

I would love to see a map showing all the locations where I've contributed photos. I have personal goals that I'm trying to reach like contributing from all 50 states in five years and it makes me feel good about my Google contributions when seeing a filled in map. 

Unfortunately, I have reached a point in my contributions and travel that a map is no longer obtainable. I just spent about 45+ minutes trying to see a map from the 6,439 photos that I have contributed to Google Maps. I first tried to create the map with a sort by date and then a sort by views. Each time I tried Google Maps ran across the same error and I tried about 5+ times.

Follow up to the suggestion, the main subject to the ease of summarizing of Local Guides contributions without the chronological filtering, covers many similar point with another post, Map all past contributions.

The local guide page only shows data of contributions over the last 6 months. I think it would be interesting to provide more insights, such as:

• Contributions from the last 12 months
• Contributions per year
• Contributions by categories
