Road editing should be possible.

It should be possible to edit and add road sections as it was in Google map maker. At the moment it is only possible to this with the feedback Formular. The review process is to long and the quality of maps is getting worther day by day.

Yes! Such a tool is a must! That's great idea.
Without fast and easy drawing tool for reporting changes on the Maps or even better - for editing Google Maps, the Google Maps are going to be outdated week by week. I see it in my area 😞

This feature should be available for senior LG like level 8 or 9, otherwise it will be miss used.

I have a serious problem because the road I need to add is mostly covered bu the branches of huge pine trees. This makes the road, a two lane packed gravel road, appear to be a dotted line, for miles and miles! What makes it even worse, is that the Satellite photo, they took it in the wintertime when the road is covered in snow! And so are the trees! How can I convince them that this 75 year old road EXISTS!

My friends have been directed to the other, Eastern end of this 40 mile long lake. My granddaughter's friend got all the way to Espanola,ON.Canada. He sat in the Tim Horton's on Center Street, Hwy6, just across the road from the Queensway, which connects, or turns into Panache /Penage Lake Road, which would take them directly, straight out to the Lake and our cottage.

But no!. Google Maps sent him all the way out to Hwy17, The Trans Canada Hwy., which is a very busy highway! Then before they got to Sudbury, Googla Maps sent them along a paved road which led them to the Lake alright , just to the WRONG END OF THE LAKE! 

Late at night they had to drive at least 60 miles out of their way, at night! On a busy dangerous highway, especially at night with all the truckers who make time at night in Northern Ontario, where there are vast miles to travel at night .Google Maps needs people like me, who use this road regularly out to my camp (cottage) but a bit more rugged at this end of a Wilderness Lake which exists in a buffer zone between Hwy 17 the Trans Canada, and The Killarny Wilderness reserve, to the South of us. We, our Lake is the buffer, and no more land is available on this glorious lake.But, we need our road part of which has been maintained by the town of Espanola. Try telling them that the road doesn't exist! The road at the Western end of the lake, which is probably NOT KNOWN by 99 percent of the town, as they all know it as Penage/Panache Lake and the reason the road ends at the big boat dock,-is that "campers" drive out the road, straight to the Penage Lake Dock. And campers collect their boats ut of their boathouses, nearby, and then the whole family helps to load their boat with luggage, food, drinks,'pets and children in lifejackets! I wish more adults would wear them too. So once they have unpacked the contents of their car into their boat, then someon has to move the vehicle off the dock and they drive around a bend in the Penage Road right into the parking lot! I think it is 10 dollars for parking, which includes the launching of a boat if you needed to do that. This is the Wilderness end of the lake.  use this as a starting point to White Fish Falls and the portage down and out into Georgian Bay, Lake Huron. There's no Lodge anymore! The 6 cabin were all struck biy lightning and all that's left is the Lodge, now Private. No need for restaurant because campers are independent! Campers all shop in Espanola. They contribute a lot to the Local economy! But that doesn't get my favorite road on the map! Can you help? I don't want some teenaged girlfriend of my Granddaughters, getting the WRONG DIRECTIONS from Google Maps.

I am with you. I also have problem like you. I try to add some roads that covered by trees and I think it's so hard to tell to map maker because the roads is hidden in imagery.

we can use Waze. Waze have map editor. Waze was acquired by Google in 2013. You can try for now.
