Hi team, yesterday I was thinking about how HUGE was your job during LG selection for #localguidesconnect live 2018.
You had to use a lot of indicator, watch a lot of videos, consider a lot of parameters, so I tried to imagine (maybe something like this is already implemented) how a global Local Guide KPI could be formed.
Here you can see an example:
I think that we all have a lot of different kind of involvment in the program, there is who loves to help in connect, who add tons of new photos, who help in Google Maps support forums, who host dozens of meetups... and so on.
So I tried to create something that will mix up, using some multipliers, these aspects of the LG activities.
This KPI could be easily used to create internal charts you can use to give out perks or decide to feature one or another LG.
And sharing a common method could help all the LGs to understand how their work is considered in terms of value.
Obviously, quality should be always the first thing... but this is something, actually, not valuable! 🙂
What do you think?
Thanks,
Lucio
