Local Guides Chapters just like GDG and GBG - Status changed to: Revisit later

Hi Everyone. 

Ever since I became a part of Google Developers Group in my city Islamabad and got to know about Google Business Group also GDG/GBG Experts, It got me thinking that we can have Local Guide Chapters too which can be moderated by local guide experts with level 6 or above or Google Local Guides team can set up a criteria. Not only it will create strong communities who will help the Google Maps but it will help the new guides to know how to contribute in a better way. 

I have seen people in my city just sharing wrong pictures or wrong reviews - we need to guide them properly. Also we need to make the brand owners aware of the fact that they need to properly maintain their brand information on Google My Business because only then they can have better representation on Google Maps. Similarly these Local Guides chapters moderators Local Guide Experts can reach out to government authorities to have transportation system properly moderated on Maps.

Thanks for acknolwging my suggestion 

First of all, just like GDG and GBG city chapters - we can have Local Guides city chapters (GDG NewYork ~ Local Guide(s) NewYork) 

These city chapters can then be moderated by LG Managers and LG Co-managers who can organize community events which will not only give information about LG in gerneral but can explain how good reviews, adding/updating missing information can be beneficial for that particular city and the city explorers (locals as well as tourists) 

Furthermore, the community chapter can be used to discuss possible collaborations with brands for local guides perks and beneifts and above all reach out to officials such as government relevant departments to improve the buliding, roads, public transports - make them accessible - so that maps can be improved. Commuity chapters can than train the brands and officials about maintaing google Google My Business profiles of their businesses because when a local guide reviews that place or add missing information, then they can verify etc. This will create a safe online space and fake edits will not be implemented also negative reviews/comments will be addressed by the brand owners. 

This small movement can help the brands as well as new people who might want to explore. This will boost the tourism of the city too as Google Trips uses the same insights (I believe) - I use Google Trips very frequently when I travel so I know how these reviews and edits make my travel easy. 

I would love to hear what are your thoughts on it.

Thanks, @AIMAN_SAEED. This isn't something the team is planning to do at this time but by changing to revisit later, it will allow other Local Guides to comment with their thoughts and vote for future consideration.
