List of Local Guides at places

Would it be possible to update on number of Local Guides and their names in a particular city / place so that the new comers from that place can contact Local Guides from list and seek their support. Let them get introduced at root level that may give a strong commitment towards their work at Local Connect.

it is a necessary option, because people could get around easier in a strange city/country. if you are looking for a similar tool/app, you can perhaps try www.airbnb.be as they do not only rent out places to stay, but people can also offer their services as well and many times this comes in handy. Hope to have been of some help and hope that Google is planning to inplement the possibility for members to point out if they want to be mentioned on certain lists indeed as local guides, local foods, asian areas, student areas, fauna and flora areas for when you maybe would like to see a platipus in the wild... Good proposition! thank you !

Most respected @aaryesdee my apologies. I read your idea once again and found that I have misunderstood something. You said that phone numbers be shared to community. I guess, in my country that may not suit everyone.. things are complicated in this regard. However it would be better that the people have permission to share their numbers and contact details to the people of their choice and not necessarily with everyone. My vote remains there for your idea.

For your kind information, I didn't ask to provide contact numbers of the LG's but requested for the number of them ( total as how many of them in a place ) and name so that the new can contact them for getting basics about community.

If we get number of LG's and their names, we can send them messages and can keep in touch with them and participate in any up coming progs. Also can seek their guidence for better.

Nech plus ultra , vous vous rendez compte les possibilitées d'informations véhiculées et ce ,au plus rapide .Aujourd'hui si on veut contacter un local guide pour une raison ou une autre ,se n'est

tout simplement pas possible à moins que je ne découvre l'astuce.

L'idéal si idéal il y a, serait de pouvoir lui envoyer un message personnel juste en passant la sourit sur son avatar,sa photo etc..Le pouvoir d'échange serait ENORME.
